dc.descriptionThe article identifies the relationship between popular collective imagination and informal housing. In the case of the city of Bogotá, it is important to emphasize the house-to-house model as a tool to build informal territory. It is a flexible and organic mechanism capable of integrating the popular collective imagination with the pre-existence of the context where it happens, and therefore teach us to overcome the social / social segregation that characterizes Latin American cities. For this purpose, the main objective is to identify the social and spatial patterns of the construction of informal housing in the city of Bogotá. In this sense, the methodological strategies of the investigation are confirmed by the analysis from the phenomenological perspective that allows to present theoretical explanations. It is concluded that the understanding of the popular collective imagination is an instrument for the study of the improvement of the habitat conditions in informal dwellings
dc.descriptionEl artículo identifica la relación entre el imaginario colectivo popular y la vivienda in-formal. Para el caso de la ciudad de Bogotá es importante entender la vivienda como la célula principal en la construcción de los barrios informales, como un mecanismo flexible y orgánico capaz de integrar el imaginario colectivo popular con la prexistencia del con-texto donde sucede y, por lo tanto, de enseñarnos a superar la segregación fisca/social que caracteriza a las ciudades latinoamericana. Para ello se propone como objetivo principal identificar los patrones sociales y espaciales de la construcción vivienda informal en la ciudad de Bogotá. En este sentido, las estrategias metodológicas de la investigación están conformadas por el análisis fenomenológico, el cual permite presentar explicaciones teóricas. Se concluye que el entendimiento del imaginario colectivo popular es el instrumento principal para el estudio del mejoramiento de las condiciones de hábitat en las viviendas informales de la ciudad
