El presente documento reflexiona sobre la imagen abstracta contemporánea, analizando la influencia de las tecnologías digitales, los nuevos rumbos de la ciencia y las nuevas formas del arte y la estética. La propuesta consolida 3 momentos centrados en la presencia de las tipologías digitales de lo visual en la sociedad de la información y los campos del conocimiento.
