Días grises y otros azules es una obra para piano solo, escrita por la compositora y pianista Isabel Gómez Álvarez en el año 2018. En esta obra, Isabel emplea su experiencia pianística y compositiva en la creación de cinco estudios de concierto que retratan el uso de técnicas rítmicas y elementos musicales del siglo XX. El objetivo de este artículo es comprender la forma en que la compositora se comunica a través de estas piezas, como también sus fuentes de inspiración para luego sugerir herramientas de estudio que faciliten su interpretación. Este propósito se abordará a partir de tres conceptos fundamentales en la música del siglo XX y XXI: La Música como Lenguaje, Composición Musical e Interpretación Musical.
Días grises y otros azules is a piano work written in 2018 by the composer and pianist Isabel Gómez Álvarez. In this work, Isabel utilizes her piano and compositional skill in creating five-concert etudes, which portray the use of rhythmic techniques and characteristic musical elements of 20th-century music. This article aims to understand how the composer communicates through these pieces, inspiration sources, and, to suggest then, study tools that facilitate their interpretation. Three fundamental ideas of the 20th and 21st centuries music will be the pillars of this analysis: Music as Language, Musical Composition, and Musical Interpretation.
